Awakening
11:55 AM
This may sound funny, but I think the other night I just realized I'm really becoming an adult.
And it was kinda freaking me out a smidge.
It was actually both me and Jensen realizing we're truly becoming adults and growing up and making kind of scary decisions.
But hey, at least we're making them together right?? :-)
So before Sunday night, we both thought that we wouldn't be going to Chiropractic School until April 2014...because we both thought that's when spring semester starts.
I guess we're used to BYU and how they actually follow the seasons.
BYU actually has a winter semester that starts in January which I know is weird.
But normally, SPRING semester starts in JANUARY. NOT APRIL.
I should have known that since I did a year of college in California before I got married.
Well it's a good thing it hit us then because holy cow we need to get crackin' on applying now. And sometime this summer/early fall we'll probably call a bishop in Whittier and ask about housing, as well as look online A LOT.
I doubt we'll be able to take a trip down and look around for apartments until Jensen graduates in December since he's going to school spring and summer.
Plus it's making us nervous about loans and how we'll pay rent each month and buy stuff we need.
I'm sure it will all work out.
Maybe the fact that we don't know what we're doing is making us nervous, but once we figure it out it will be better and will feel normal.
I know lots of people go through this, but to us new people it's nerve-racking at the moment.
We've had a couple days to take it in and we're scared but excited at the same time!
It's actually kind of thrilling to move to the next stage in life, scary, but thrilling, because we'll be together and we'll always have each other :-)
That's what marriage is all about right?
Having one exciting, clueless, thrilling, nerve-racking, beautiful adventure with your best friend!
