Hi!  Well it's been forever since I've blogged.  Let's see what's happened since April.  We had both our birthdays in May (He's the 8th, I'm the 12th ha!).  I'm 20 years old!!  We saw The Avengers that weekend and it was so good!!  And of course we ate at Olive Garden, my favorite restaurant in the whole wide world.  I have to eat there every year for my birthday, which means Jensen has to also haha :-)  Jensen's old car insurance job couldn't afford him and his co-workers anymore so they were all let go, but he had a Nu Skin interview the very next day!  So since mid June he's been working there in Distributor Support (basically a call center).  We were really blessed he found something right off the bat!  Really shows that the Lord is taking care of us.  And he actually enjoys his job too!

So, after he was let go and before he started Nu Skin, we had like two weeks of nothing to do.  We had to get some repairs done to our car and we were half joking about going home for a week before he started his job.  And especially after getting the repairs done we were like,"We have the car all tuned up and ready to go!"  But paying for gas was what held us back.  Not the cheapest thing in the world, even for a 91' Accord.  So one night, it was a Friday night, Jensen was talking on the phone with his dad about Chiropractic School (yes we're planning on doing that after BYU.  We'll be living in Anaheim!  And yes we WILL be getting Disneyland Yearly Passes!! SO excited!)  And so while he's talking on the phone, I'm in the other room doodling lol.  I can hear his conversation and was listening on and off and getting a feeling that Pat was encouraging us to come down for a week.  So Jensen walks into my office and I something like, "So we goin' home?"  And he says with a huge smile," Let's go home for a week!" So I'm totally excited and nervous at the same time!  It was so unexpected!  I mean really, we were joking before about going home for a week.  We wanted to of course, but didn't want to pay for gas.  But Pat made Jensen a deal where he paid for our gas if Jensen worked with him that week!  So immediately we get our duffel bags down and just start throwing clothes in them.  Oh, and not to mention we planned on leaving at 4 IN THE MORNING.  OH MY WORD.  So seriously, we got like 3 or 4 hours of sleep because we were too excited to sleep and then we got up AT 3:30 IN THE MORNING.  I can't believe we did that!!  We get on the freeway at around 4am and we got to San Marcos at around 1pm.  And better yet, Pat was the ONLY person that knew we were coming down!  Every other person in our families had no idea we were coming down!  So we got to surprise every one!! It was SOO much fun!! :-)

We were so glad to be home that particular week too because the next day was Amy's birthday! Here's a picture of me her son, Lucas! He's a cute lil' monkey :-) On my parent's new couch, by the way:

Then a couple days later was my sister-in-law's daughter's birthday, Ava! And then a couple days after that was Aleigh's baptism!  Yay Aleigh!! :-)  And then we celebrated Father's Day and I got him a Chargers beach towel :-)  And then we went to a friend's wedding, Jessica Keithly (formerly McMaster)!  Lots of events!  Really wish I had more pictures of that week.

So then, like two weeks later my parents came up to see our place for the first time!  We  went to Park City and rode the new coaster there. SO much more fun than the Alpine Slides!! We played some ping pong and foosball at the clubhouse in Midway.  My mom took me shopping at the mall of course (thanks again Mom!)  And then we all did sealings at the Provo Temple!  It was wonderful and very special. Here's a couple pictures of that evening.  You may have already seen on my Facebook:

Me, Jensen, Mom, Dad, Barbara, and Grandpa Chris!

:-)
By the way, yes I did get low-lights in my hair.  I'm still getting used to how dark my hair is.  I might wanna go back to blonde...I dunno.

In a nut shell, I was let go from my Red Robin job because the manager made a mistake with my shift schedule.  So I've been looking for a job for a long time now.

I'm trying to like cooking more.  I'm slowly but surely trying new recipes.

Speaking of cooking, I'm going to eat dinner now! I'll make a better effort about keeping my blog updated :-)
