Fun Stuff

Hi! Let's catch up on our lives here again. So Jensen started school a couple weeks ago. He's taking 15 credits and working 30 hours a week. He's pretty crazy busy.
And I just got a job at Macy's as a Clinique Consultant! It's pretty good so far! I'm brand new so I'm learning the ropes, but it's so fun to be around skincare and makeup all day!
I've always loved makeup and beauty products :-)
We were so blessed for me to get this job because normally I would have to start in some other department and work my way up to Cosmetics, but I got it right off the bat!
Such a huge blessing for us.

What else has happened...we went to Lagoon one night for just a couple hours. Jensen got two free tickets from Nu Skin. Lagoon is basically like a Utah version of Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor in one park (except I wont lie, not as much fun as those two parks because most of Lagoon's rides are just the spinning around and around kind which I can not go on), but I met some of Jensen's co workers and drove the best go karts ever! I love go karts. That's much more fun than the ones at Boomers actually :-) It's an hour away from Provo and I had work early the next morning so we couldn't stay long.
I was able to sneak in a couple pictures though!

On the Chairlift!  Please excuse my hair...I didn't care about doing it that day.
I look a lot different with my bangs up.

View from the Chairlift...all of these pictures are taken on the Chairlift.

Our view facing forward...gorgeous weather that day.

An attempt to take a picture over my shoulder of what was behind us...without dropping the camera.

Lots of really pretty waterfalls scattered throughout the park! I love waterfalls.

So then last Monday was the game between the Raiders and the Chargers.
Before I met Jensen I grew up a Chargers girl, even had my Chargers t-shirt! My dad has always been a loyal fan. He has his Chargers license plate, beach towel, and lightning bolt Cornhole boards with complementary yellow and blue corn bags.
I was pretty surprised when I discovered while Jensen and I were dating that he and his family are great Raiders fans. I knew I had to get rid of my Chargers t-shirt because I wanted to impress Jensen, as I knew that he was going to be my husband and I wanted to be a supportive future wife :-)

Thus, leading me to buy:
1) a Raiders car sticker which we still have on our car to this day
2) this Raiders t-shirt and
3) Raiders pajama pants to match
(Got 'em at Victoria's Secret during their Pink NFL Collection sale if you're curious.
And they have all 32 teams).

This was us before we went over to our friends' house for dinner and watched the game. Yeah I know they lost, but at least we're not fair-weather fans. It's funny, that's not even his shirt, it's actually Hunter's. So I need to get Jensen his own Raiders shirt!
(Christmas gift from me? I think so!)

Oh and the picture? My parents got it for us!
My dad said he had nothing to do with it and it was all my mom's idea lol.
( Thanks Dad for being such a good sport :-) )

It's getting cooler outside and I'm excited because fall is my favorite season and our first year anniversary is next month!
I seem to always publish a post right before dinner. And we're starving, but I'll post again soon!!
