Christmas Anticipation

It's been awhile! I've been so busy. Especially last week. I worked a ton last week! Including a 10 hour Black Friday shift. Ouch. Yeah, not fun.
But Thanksgiving was good. Delicious food! We went to Jensen's grandma's house. His parents and sister came up and stayed with us. It was fun!

Sorry, I'm grateful to have a job and yet sometimes I can barely stand it.

We don't know if we'll be able to go home for Christmas.
Just writing that, I could cry.
I talked with my manager and she said that she'll try to do something where my shifts will be advertised so others can pick them up.
The ONLY way that we'll be able to come down is if people cover my shifts.
But for some reason Macy's isn't hiring very many people. I have no idea why.
My counter manager said Macy's is desperate for people, so maybe people just aren't applying. Great. So there are lots of shifts, and not very many people.
I won't even know my schedule until two weeks ahead of time. So we're waiting.

Pleeeeeease let my husband and I be with our families for Christmas!!
In the meantime, I just beat Donkey Kong tonight. So now I need another video game lol.
I don't know why I love the Wii so much. No other game console is more fun to me.
So I'm very grateful for that when Jensen is busy with homework.
What else, we just became Netflix users recently! We started watching the show Once Upon a Time. It's so good! I love that it's all about fairytale characters.
I love anything fairytale/Disneyland-ish.
I can never make up my mind about my hair color. I got some lowlights in, but now I want to go back to blonde. I don't like the maintenance, that's why I got lowlights.
But I feel prettier blonde.
Isn't that funny? It's nowhere near my natural hair color lol.
I have to deal with either darker roots, or darker hair... I might take the the darker roots, because overall I'll still be blonde.
I started getting highlights when I was 12. So I was blonde for years and became so comfortable with it. Anything else feels weird to me.
Plus I'm so white right now and these lowlights aren't helping.
Sorry about my girly rantings! I think I'll go to sleep now.
